Over the weekend, hundreds of photo and art enthusiasts, as well as some big name A-listers, flocked to the desert landscape of Palm Springs to attend a widely anticipated photo exhibition at the “A Place in the Sun” the boutique hotel since 1951 by Maksym Pastushenko, a highly regarded photo retoucher that has made waves throughout his national and international industry. Mr. Pastushenko displayed numerous works of his, which portrayed his brilliant photo touching abilities and a true beauty exemplified by the subjects in his photo exhibition, and even attracted the attention of major talents like Oscar Winner Margaret O-Brien.
Mr. Pastushenko is a world class photo retoucher most recognized for his running of the global Color Consulting organization, in which he oversees high-end beauty and fashion retouching, interior photography, portraits, photomontages, collages, and other color consulting and photo retouching services for his clientele. As demonstrated through his display of his own personal art works at a Palm Springs exhibition at the A Place in the Sun hotel, however, he is not simply a business-owner, but is the real deal, fully capable of producing his own color consulting work that is able to attract the attention of major celebrities.
The exhibition at A Place in the Sun featured Mr. Pastushenko’s various color retouching and photo works, including photos of city landscapes of Manhattan Bridge, New Jersey, and New York City; portraits of variously-styled and dressed models; and other scenic landscapes of nature and island photography. The cute, whimsical, and historically renowned venue, A Place in the Sun, was originally built in the 1950’s as a retreat for the cast of the Oscar hit, “A Place in the Sun”, but as time has progressed, is now a decorated venue hosting exhibitions and showcases and featuring the works of acclaimed photographers and photo retouching industry members, as Mr. Pastushenko. The event and exhibition was a huge success, and has proven the ability of this renovated Hollywood retreat to promote the works of photographers and artists like Mr. Pastushenko.
Since the success of his exhibition, Mr. Pastushenko intends to continue his work as a Photo Retoucher in the U.S., and hopes that his display of his various works at the A Place in the Sun exhibition and others will increase his chances of being recognized as a worthwhile candidate for his future US career.
