In the world of independent punk rock, few names command as much quiet respect as Horace Pinker. From their early days in Tempe to their current home in Chicago, the trio has shared stages with everyone from Fugazi to Green Day, carving out a three-decade legacy built on honesty, grit, and an unwavering melodic sensibility. Today, the band proves they are far from finished, announcing a high-octane split EP with The Raging Nathans and a massive global touring schedule for 2026.
The announcement comes alongside the release of „Another Way,“ the first single from the upcoming split EP, out April 24 via Rad Girlfriend Records. The track serves as a perfect entry point for the uninitiated and a welcome return for long-time fans, blending the band’s signature driving guitars with the kind of airtight rhythm section that only decades of chemistry can produce.
The split follows a whirlwind period for the band, including a standout performance at FEST 23 in Gainesville, which reconfirmed their status as one of the most vital live acts in the scene.
While the split EP is the immediate focus, it arrives on the heels of the band’s most significant body of work in over a decade: the full-length LP Now and the Future (People of Punk Rock Records). As their first studio album since 2011’s Local State Inertia, it captures a band that has evolved without losing its core identity.
To bring the record to life, the band—comprised of Scott Eastman (guitar/vocals), Bryan Jones (drums), and Greg Mytych (bass/vocals)—teamed up with legendary producer Dan Precision (Rise Against, 88 Fingers Louie) at Chicago’s Bombshelter Recording Studio.
„The record reflects how we continue to evolve while staying true to our punk roots,“ the band shares. Nowhere is this clearer than in the new music video for „Three Against Me,“ a raw, unfiltered snapshot of the band’s onstage intensity that balances defiance with seasoned reflection.
Horace Pinker has always been a global force, having performed in over 20 countries. In 2026, they are set to expand that map even further. After a Midwest run in May and an East Coast trek with Celebration Summer in June, the band will head overseas in August to support skate-punk icons Pulley. The European leg includes coveted slots at major festivals, including Brakrock in Belgium and the legendary Punk Rock Holiday in Slovenia.
In a nod to the collectors, the band has also announced the first-ever physical release of their 2022 digital EP, House of Cards. Now available on vinyl and digipack CD via People of Punk Rock Records, it gives fans a chance to own a physical piece of what many consider a crucial „bridge“ chapter in the band’s recent history.
As The A.V. Club once noted, Horace Pinker possesses a „magic mix“ of intersecting guitars and vocals that know exactly when to sing and when to shout. In 2026, that magic is louder than ever.
