Kites From The Noodles Kingdom is the brand new single by Clever Square out now via Bronson Recordings, taken from their new album to be released next spring.

Clever Square start dreaming again with the new single Kites From The Noodles Kingdom, available on all digital platforms from today December, 10th 2021 for Bronson Recordings, taken from their new and fourth album scheduled for release next spring.

True indie rock and graceful melodic songwriting fly together in metaphysical Black and White Lodges, also thanks to the cinematic jazzy nuances guaranteed by the guest Jacopo Finelli from Leatherette on saxophone.

After the previous single Little Flaws, dating back to autumn 2020, Kites From The Noodles Kingdom continues along a completely new path for the Italian band, led by Giacomo D’Attorre (voice and guitar) and completed by Francesco Lima (guitar), Andrea Ferriani (bass) and Andrea Napolitano (drums).

According to D’Attorre: „When we started working on the arrangement of this song, we had in mind both the Sparklehorse sound and the Twin Peaks atmospheres; I wanted the song to have a hazy and nocturnal feel to it, but also some sensual and dreamy vibes, which are well delivered by Jacopo Finelli from Leatherette, who plays the saxophone on this track. In this song I’m trying to reconsider the end of an important relationship, what it meant and what’s left of it: his aspects back then, what it looks like now. It’s a song about the fleetingness of love, about closure and forgiveness: everything’s fine, and what’s not will be rectified in another life or universe„.

Kites From The Noodles Kingdom was recorded and mixed by Marco Giudici (Any Other), already working with the band for the third self-titled album of 2019. The song was then produced by Lima, and mastered by Matt Bordin.

Kites From The Noodles Kingdom polish an evolution that, from the lo-fi approach of the early days, has gradually come to great care of the instrumental intertwining, a more warm sound and an intimacy that in any case does not give up electricity when necessary.

Clever Square fängt wieder an zu träumen mit der neuen Single Kites From The Noodles Kingdom , die ab dem 10. Dezember 2021 für Bronson Recordings auf allen digitalen Plattformen erhältlich ist, aus ihrem neuen und vierten Album, das im nächsten Frühjahr erscheinen soll.

Wahrer Indie-Rock und anmutiges melodisches Songwriting fliegen in metaphysischen Black and White Lodges zusammen, auch dank der filmisch-jazzigen Nuancen, die der Gast Jacopo Finelli von Leatherette am Saxophon garantiert.

Nach der bisherigen Single Little Flaws aus dem Herbst 2020 geht Kites From The Noodles Kingdom  für die italienische Band einen völlig neuen Weg, angeführt von Giacomo D’Attorre (Stimme und Gitarre) und komplettiert von Francesco Lima (Gitarre), Andrea Ferriani (Bass) und Andrea Napolitano (Schlagzeug).

D’Attorre erklärt: „ Als wir mit der Arbeit am Arrangement dieses Songs begannen, dachten wir sowohl an den Sparklehorse-Sound als auch an die Twin Peaks- Atmosphären; Ich wollte, dass der Song eine dunstige und nächtliche Atmosphäre hat, aber auch einige sinnliche und verträumte Vibes, die von Jacopo Finelli von Leatherette, der bei diesem Track Saxophon spielt, gut geliefert werden. In diesem Song versuche ich, das Ende einer wichtigen Beziehung zu überdenken, was es bedeutete und was davon noch übrig war: seine Aspekte damals, wie es heute aussieht. Es ist ein Lied über die Flüchtigkeit der Liebe, über Schließung und Vergebung: Alles ist gut, und was nicht wird, wird in einem anderen Leben oder Universum korrigiert . “ .

Kites From The Noodles Kingdom wurde von Marco Giudici (Any Other)aufgenommen und gemischt, der bereits mit der Band für das dritte selbstbetitelte Album von 2019 zusammenarbeitete. Der Song wurde dann von Lima produziert und von Matt Bordin gemastert.

Kites From The Noodles Kingdom polieren eine Evolution, die aus dem Lo-Fi-Ansatz der frühen Tage nach und nach zu einer sorgfältigen instrumentalen Verflechtung, einem warmeren Klang und einer Intimität gekommen ist, die auf jeden Fall nicht auf Strom verzichtet, wenn es nötig ist .
