Gayeon Lee SS 23

Strong, yet playful silhouettes, neutral colours with pops of orange, green, and blue – the GAYEON LEE SS23 collection truly pays tribute to the woman who cherishes the intersaction of art and fashion.

This season the designer was inspired by the rich colour palette of Milton Avery’s paintings and, accordingly, the SS23 collection resonates with the artist’s colourful and abstract approach to both the portraits and figures of women.
Starting with a spectrum of neutral coloured linen and pastel-coloured crisp cottons with striking colours; through playful pleats, creative clinching, assymetric-cut hemlines and layers, and iconic signature tulip silhouettes, an alluring fluidity to the garments is created. Collages of geometric cut patterns are infused with a sharp colour palette. A focus on intricately cut dresses, oversized coats and jackets, touches of tailoring, and structural volumes, add edge.
Starting off with elegant pieces that can be worn day-to-day, the collection gradually brings us to refined evening and effortless holiday looks.
