Inspired by both Henri Matisse’s cut out collages, and the iconic structural pieces of André Courrèges, Gayeon has created her own abstract prints of soft shapes and floating flowers, paired with a distinctive contemporary interpretation of 60’s silhouettes.

Collages of fabric and eye-catching geometric elements linked by buttons; clinching detailing that creates volume; tailored tunics and trousers given structured volume with simplified feminine details; joyful prints and intricate silhouettes shown throughout feminine and fluent, softly tailored pieces; and a modern interpretation of the corset and bras are the main features of this collection.

The collection primarily features silky, bold prints; voluminous midi-length skirts; puffy sleeves and draped collars; dropped-shoulder oversized jackets and coats; and dresses with gathered volume through drawstring detailing. The selection of fabrics used ranges from plain cotton to printed silk and woolens, while shearing lining options for the jackets adds warmth for the Winter season.
