Kemptthal, April 14, 2026. Compact, lightweight, and engineered with dual burners: With the launch of the Gemini II, heritage brand Optimus presents a true milestone in the world of outdoor cooking. This high-performance double-burner stove finally allows backpackers and hikers—those who count every gram in their kit—to heat two pots simultaneously. It is a level of culinary flexibility that was once reserved strictly for car campers.
With dual burners, meals in the great outdoors become significantly more versatile. Whether it’s rice and vegetables, bacon and eggs, or pasta and sauce, the possibilities are endless. The Optimus Gemini II effectively doubles the outdoor dining experience. Despite its power, its unique architectural design and minimal pack size ensure it takes up very little space in a trekking rucksack.
Optimus manufactures the Gemini II using premium materials at the company’s own production facility in Europe. The stove features an integrated windscreen and high-precision flame control, allowing for a gentle simmer without scorching. Both burners are individually adjustable, giving the chef total control over each dish.
A standout technical feature is the innovative pressure control valve. Unlike standard stoves, the gas pressure does not fluctuate as the canister empties; it remains stable throughout the entire life of the cartridge. With a combined output of 4.6 kW, the Optimus Gemini II can boil one liter of water in just four minutes.
