SABIRAH is a Luxury Modest Wear Brand for all by Deborah Latouche

Launched in February 2020, SABIRAH is known for exquisite tailoring in luxurious repurposed fabrics often from the mills of Italy, made in London in limited quantities giving an exclusive service to each client. Collection 1.2 embraces SABIRAH’s ethos of a luxurious
contemporary collection with the ethics of sustainability.

SABIRAH continues to evolve this season with new silhouettes, colours and exquisite fabrics whilst still retaining the signature SABIRAH aesthetic. For Collection 1.2 Deborah explored emotions and metamorphosis.

“Remember without change we would not have butterflies” – Anonymous
“The pandemic has opened us up to such a diverse amount of heightened feelings and we can experience multiples of them on any given day, but essentially even though there may be intense sadness in world, I feel there is also a huge sense of hope and positivity of how we
can move forward in life with togetherness.” DL
The collection takes the form of an experimental film by Esmé Moore, a visually arresting piece that reflects the release of emotions that informed the collection. Esmé created an animation of stills photography within a stirring soundscape.
“I wanted to capture the unique energy of these times by portraying a more exaggerated shape this season, conjuring up drama and change.” DL

The new Bell Dress in silk taffeta is an example of strength, with exaggerated shoulder and sleeve details making it a great statement piece. The blouses this season are made from more structured fabrics with bellowing sleeves and contrasting neck ties and continues using vintage metal buttons.
SABIRAH believes in enhancing the existing capsule collection by refining styles, adding different colour-ways, sourcing alternative fabrics and gradually building on the brands foundations.
As such this collection introduces, Noir, Antique Gold, Cerise Pink and Acid Mustard to the capsule creating a bold colour palette for the emerging season ahead. The evolution of the collection through alternative fabrics, colours and simple bespoke alterations gives the wearer a demi-couture experience to each limited edition piece.
“SABIRAH grew from a desire to fulfill the needs of the modern modest dresser without having to compromise due to the limitations of fast fashion. SABIRAH addresses the need for a market that can sometimes feel neglected – a capsule collection that talks directly to the
modest woman, using luxury fabrics and contemporary yet timeless styling, it encompasses all the elements for a ready-to-wear wardrobe.” DL
