Prince Mario-Max Charter Member of New Oscar Academy Museum

H.H. Dr. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe has been spotted at the high caliber charter member screening at Paramount Pictures in Hollywood California.

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is a museum currently under construction by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles, California. Set to open in early 2020, the Academy Museum will be the nation’s first large-scale museum entirely dedicated to the art, science, craft, business, and history of film. The permanent and rotating exhibits will provide an immersive experience for visitors to explore the cultural and creative contributions that Hollywood and the film industry have made around the world.

The Museum will be established in the historic May Company Building—renamed the Saban Building following a $50 million gift from Cheryl and Haim Saban—on the corner of Wilshire and Fairfax on Los Angeles’s Museum Mile. The 300,000 square-foot facility is being designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architect Renzo Piano with Renzo Piano Building Workshop and Gensler.

Paramount provided an adequate setting for the Saul Bass Phase IV. screening. During his 40-year career Bass worked for some of Hollywood’s most prominent filmmakers, including Alfred Hitchcock, Otto Preminger, Billy Wilder, Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorsese. Among his most famous title sequences are the animated paper cut-out of a heroin addict’s arm for Preminger’s The Man with the Golden Arm, the credits racing up and down what eventually becomes a high-angle shot of a skyscraper in Hitchcock’s North by Northwest, and the disjointed text that races together and apart in Psycho.

The projects key names: Brougher will be named “founding director” of the museum. The museum’s chief operating officer is Brendan Connell, and its top fundraiser is Katharine DeShaw.

Fabulous NBCUniversal’s Vice Chairman Ron Meyer as head of the Academy Museum’s Board of Trustees. True entertainment Royal and Hollywood host and actor H.H. Dr. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe is currently working with NBC Universal on a 2019 production.
