Camilla Damkjaer
London based Danish designer Camilla Damkjaer graduated from Royal College of Art 2017 and launched her eponymous label in spring 2018. Camilla Damkjaer creates materials and techniques, such as integrating heat press and transformative materials that capture the agency of the wearer’s body, resulting in a textural, visual and movement-driven collection. Based around the idea that the cloths we wear should be treasured objects that become diaries of our everyday life, she is rediscovering the everyday wardrobe, aiming to create garments that celebrate the uniqueness and imperfection captured in the garments as a result of people making and wearing them.
