Januar 2026 verwandelt der Markt Schoenbrunn in eine Welt aus Licht und Kunstfertigkeit. Unter dem beleuchteten Sternenbogen mit der Aufschrift Willkommen treten Gaeste in eine Kulisse aus kaiserlicher Geschichte und Wiener Tradition. Im Zentrum ragt der Weihnachtsbaum vor der Fassade auf, umgeben von Staenden mit oesterreichischer Handwerkskunst, von handbemalten Glaskugeln bis zu feinen Textilien.
Choere und klassische Ensembles lassen Wiens musikalisches Erbe erklingen, dazu duften geroestete Kastanien, Lebkuchen, Apfelgebaeck und Gluehwein in der klaren Winterluft. Die Ausgabe 2025 setzt auf energieeffiziente Beleuchtung, regionale Produkte und Programme fuer Kunsthandwerker, bei vollem traditionellen Charme.
