How A Bullied Royal Expert Compared to Prince Harry Survives Cancel Culture. Not to be Kept Down as Media Credits Pile Up.

How A Bullied Royal Expert Compared to Prince Harry Survives Cancel Culture. Not to be Kept Down as Media Credits Pile Up.

The charismatic Royal expert, commentator, and award-winning author, Thomas Mace-Archer-Mills has editorially circumnavigated the globe for the last decade with hundreds of Royal themed media appearances to his name. Television, radio, and print outlets have racked up nearly 150 media credits around the world over the past six weeks for the American born monarchist who counts approximately 700 media credits throughout his career. Labelled the most interviewed man of the 2018 Royal Wedding by media outlets, and given the title „Mr. Monarchy“ by French journalists in 2013, Mace-Archer-Mills who is of British, British/Irish, and first-generation Italian blood, has undergone a media blitz and revival over the past several years following an explosive, yet xenophobic article first seen in the Wall Street Journal following the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2018.

Archer-Mills is an educated and elegant man. He had to go through a lot. Is it envy or just competitor thinking of media companies and their ever competitive authors. Bullied for his knowledge due to his place of birth, elocution lessons in a bid to „fit in“ with British society, and a very personal name change, Mace-Archer-Mills opens up about the aftermath of his Wall Street Journal experience, online bullying, and the sense of unwavering dedication to the craft that he possesses. Working hard to defend The Duke and Duchess of Sussex from Brighton & Hove Council’s republican bid to strip the Royal couple of their titles in December 2019, the Royal expert stood unmoved in his defence of monarchy taking to 50 different media outlets, including Elle, to fight for the newlywed Royal couple. Since then Harry and Meghan have quit the Royal family and have moved to America, where they are raising their son Archie who speaks with a distinctly American accent. As Prince Harry has recently been reported to adopt Americanisms in his speech, word structure, and terminology in a bid to „fit in“ with his American surroundings, why should Harry, as now simply wants to be referred to as, be treated any different for moving to America, changing his speech, and living his authentic life as Mace-Archer-Mills had done years prior?
Despite countless others who have changed their name, changed their accents, and changed the countries in which they live, Mace-Archer-Mills has not been treated equally with the likes of anyone, let alone The Duke of Sussex, Sandy Toksvig OBE, American born Lloyd Grossman OBE, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, The Beckhams, and millions of others who have done what Mace-Archer-Mills has, to make a name for themselves and „fit in“. Attacking someone for living a life in which they are true to themselves and not harming others, whilst doing something for the greater good of a place and its people, such as promoting education, heritage, and history, should be commended, not condemned. Xenophobia mixed with todays‘ acceptable forms of Cancel Culture almost cost Mace-Archer-Mills his life, however he ignored the haters, fought the bullies, and took his story to the world’s largest anti-bullying platform.
Invited to appear on The Bully Effect with the „Anti Bully Diva“ during May 2020, Mace-Archer-Mills spoke to the world’s largest anti-bullying podcast platform, reaching over 10 million people during his interview. He discussed living „his most authentic life“ and „how people should not be bullied for the claiming of their heritage and history, creating a life they want to live, and making something of themselves according to who they are and not the way other people think they should“. He described the worlds‘ media outlets that were promoting falsifications and manipulated information about his story as „syndicated corporate bullying“. Opening up about online bullies, death threats, and the constant harassment of the person he is, Mace-Archer-Mills shared that there were times he did think about taking his own life, „just to escape the pain, hurt, lies, and general thoughts“ about him that the world „came to believe at the hands of an irresponsible and immoral media. Had I not had a strong mental constitution, I am sure that I would not be here today. Had it not been for the support and encouragement of my friends and complete strangers who reached out to me across the world, I more than likely would have performed a lovely swan dive into the Thames“. Mace-Archer-Mills explained how he was deceived by the Wall Street Journal and that the article released was not related to the original ask and interview he gave. The article published was created through duplicitous and deceptive means which ultimately cost him several personal, media-related, and professional relationships that he had built over the years. Despite the harm and damage done, The Royal expert is still here, still commentating, and not detracting from the goal he set out, which was and is to educate about the importance of Constitutional Monarchy.
Further discussing how he was previously and still is bullied and targeted by the cancel culture phenomena, Mace-Archer-Mills went on to state that the „bombshell“ article popping up around the world in other printed outlets, was further embellished and replicated by several different outlets through „copy and paste reporting“, leaving the expert deeply injured but not broken. In his current opinion that he shared, the scars which he has healed from were „mostly superficial, but could have had longer lasting and much deeper effects“. He went on to explain that individuals and organisations were not interested in the truth, only „the scandal“ and rumours which not only shocked, but had shown Mace-Archer-Mills just how petty and unprofessional many members of society were and are. Taking to his own blog and several one-on-one interviews with Britain’s The Sun Newspaper, including a recorded and aired sit down interview, Mace-Archer-Mills was able to set the record straight on a host of points included in the less than flattering articles that „exposed“ him as a „fraud“, „Charlatan“, and other colorful terms, none which accurately depict this authentic, genuine, and certainly knowledgeable Royal expert. Internationally syndicated outlets such as John Oliver, Megyn Kelly, and others doubled down on the Royal expert without opening a line of communication with him to explore the underside of the narrative promoted by the Wall Street Journal. Inside Edition interviewed Mace-Archer-Mills for their prime-time show, even sending a correspondent to his home town of Bolton Landing on Lake George NY, but this report still had a negative tone to its theme. Despite negative world-wide press attention and ill-exposure received, Mace-Archer-Mills was defended by many media outlets including but not limited to The SunBusiness InsiderNewser and many others including Zeitblatt Magazine.
Insider did not follow suit to negate or discredit Mace-Archer-Mills‘ knowledge, “A ‚British‘ commentator on the royal family turned out to be a guy from upstate New York — but he’s still one of the world’s leading experts.” Newser went further in support of Mace-Archer-Mills, “He has gathered more information about the British Royal family than you’ll ever want to know – a veritable laundry list of characters close to the throne reaching back to Oliver Cromwell, an English military and political leader and one of the signatories in 1649 of King Charles I’s death warrant that led to his beheading.” With The Sun Newspaper setting the record straight as to Mace-Archer-Mill’s origins, family ancestry and heritage, and evolved British speech/dialect, several articles including his mother who was omitted by the Wall Street Journal, and a rebuttal of the Wall Street Journal article which also included his father, were released to address the unfounded assertions pushed forward by a majority of the world’s papers. Despite all of the bad experienced, some good was received. Mace-Archer-Mills was still considered a Royal Expert – what he knows was not and should not be dictated by where he was born, and many outlets agreed. International outlets stayed with him and continued to go to him for his expert commentary and contributions. The BBC, Russia’s HTB, The Daily Star, Mirror, and Mail have all stuck with the knowledge and comments of the Royal expert that Mace-Archer-Mills is.
As Mace-Archer-Mills again reaches new and exciting heights within his career, there are always those waiting for an opportunity to dredge up negativity, spread misinformation, and comb through someone’s past for their own agenda and advancement. Its has been three years since the Wall Street Journal tried to crucify the Royal Expert, and despite the good amount of time which has elapsed since then, media outlets such as London’s The Private Eye has picked up on the Royal expert’s recent catalogue of media credits and renewed popularity. As if not enough mental, emotional and nearly physical damage had been done to Mace-Archer-Mills, The Private Eye is currently „late to the party“ according to the Royal Expert in spreading misinformation about him. In a jovial light hearted conversation, the Royal Expert shared an email to the Editor of the London based publication, which was not responded to. Mace-Archer-Mills took their bullying in stride with a humorous tongue-in-cheek assessment of their column and views about him. He expressed to the Editor that he was „Flattered to be mentioned in a column all of my own within your publication. I truly see this as a badge of honour, as anyone who is anyone graces the pages of your magazine.“ He went on to thank the publication for their exposure and for listing him alongside „the great and good of the United Kingdom“. In referencing how the column was late in reporting about his life, Mace-Archer-Mills laughed, „…it’s okay I understand. You are also about eight years behind the curve in the news of my name change which appeared in a 2013 London Evening Standard article“. According to Mace-Archer-Mills, „Corporate or not, haters are going to hate, but hate in any form, including a bullying manner, says more about them than it ever would me. It’s how I deal with that hate that matters most“.
With a 2013 mini-documentary included in the hundreds of credits, ARTE Europa found the work of Mace-Archer-Mills and the British Monarchist Society, a London-based heritage organisation he founded to support and promote education about the Monarchy, of interest. Piling up the media credits after nearly succumbing to the hazardous effects of cancel culture, Mace-Archer-Mills is on the move. The Royal expert has again garnered world-wide press attention for his recent and in depth comments on the death and Funeral of Prince Philip, the Military Appointments of Princess Anne, and how Prince Harry is no longer the heir to Philip’s „Legend of Banter“ due to his new „woke“ persona. Regardless of his recent media participation, not one interview or comment has pushed him or his profession as fast or furious than those following the 2018 wedding of Britain’s Prince Harry to American actress Meghan Markle. Currently reviving his Royal publication, „Crown & Country Magazine“, taking to the airwaves with his own Royal-themed radio station, releasing a children’s book about the enchanted young life of Queen Elizabeth II, and orchestrating the creation of a celebratory statue of the Queen to be placed in central next year to mark 70 years of her reign, the Royal expert is moving forward as if nothing can touch him. Emerging triumphant from the horrific and nearly career destroying ordeal, Mace-Archer-Mills proves to be an individual who will not be told where he can fit in, will not be cancelled for the person he is, and will not be bullied for living his most authentic life as an American born, self-identified Brit. There is something ugly in the way he was treated, but beautiful in the way he and his story have turned out. We look forward to seeing what this Royal Expert will do and create as he looks forward to the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II next year.
