Halloween Magic Returns to Rockefeller Center The Exclusive Heart of NYC
A festive celebration rises high above Manhattan this season as Rockefeller Center welcomes visitors for a Halloween weekend filled with family charm, city views, and a spirited lineup of events across its famed plazas and observatories.

Every October, New York’s skyline seems to gather a special kind of energy, and at the Top of the Rock, that excitement transforms into a celebration blending nostalgia, joy, and the city’s timeless grandeur. This year, the iconic observation deck opens its doors for a Halloween weekend celebration on October 31 from 2 to 6 p.m., inviting families and visitors to experience the city’s heights with themed activities, surprises, and special offers.
Trick or Treat Above the City
Visitors to Top of the Rock will be treated to the Lil Sweet Trick or Treat experience, a complimentary adventure designed for children in costume to explore the campus while collecting festive treats. Participating shops will extend a 15 percent discount on purchases, while The Beam, Rockefeller Center’s thrilling photo attraction, will offer free rides for costumed guests.
The celebration continues through the weekend, and the Center also embraces the 2025 New York City Marathon: runners who present their official bibs receive free admission to Top of the Rock and 25 percent off admission for up to three guests. A special Arc’teryx giveaway follows with an exclusive pop-up at 50 Rockefeller Plaza on November 1 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with select toques for guests while supplies last. Julia Chiang’s Art in Focus installation continues through October 31, and GrowNYC’s Greenmarket remains active on Center Plaza through October 29.
From Halloween to the Tree
Following Halloween, the Lil Sweet Trick or Treat continues through November 2, and Meet the Tree Day 2025 arrives on November 8, introducing the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree before its grand lighting. The Rink at Rockefeller Center Presented by Chase Freedom has begun its skating season with VIP skate sessions and a redesigned VIP Skate Hut. From children trick-or-treating high above the streets to marathon runners celebrating at the summit, Rockefeller Center remains a place where New York’s enduring spirit is on full display.

Herzstück ist das kostenlose Lil Sweet Trick or Treat: Kinder in Kostümen ziehen über das Gelände und sammeln Leckereien. Teilnehmende Geschäfte gewähren 15 Prozent Rabatt, und die Foto-Attraktion The Beam bietet kostümierten Gästen kostenlose Fahrten. Weiter geht es mit dem New York City Marathon 2025: Läufer mit offizieller Startnummer erhalten freien Eintritt zum Top of the Rock und 25 Prozent Nachlass für bis zu drei Gäste. Am 1. November folgt ein Arc’teryx-Pop-up an der 50 Rockefeller Plaza von 10 bis 18:30 Uhr mit Mützen für die ersten Gäste, dazu läuft Julia Chiangs Installation Art in Focus bis 31.
