En remportant le Grand Prix de Grande Bretagne au terme d’une course parfaitement
maîtrisée , l’Italien Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) s’est affirmé comme un rival
très sérieux de l’Espagnol Marc Marquez (Honda) pour la couronne mondiale de la
catégorie reine de MotoGP. Au Championnat du monde, Dovisioso reprend la tête
du championnat au détriment du catalan de Honda qui a subit une casse moteur
pendant la course.
Le pilote italien officiel Ducati devient meilleur scoreur cette saison avec
désormais 4 victoires: l’Italie, la Catalogne, l’Autriche et la Grande
Bretagne.Si Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) a dominé les 3/4 de la course, il a du
s’incliner devant la Ducati de Dovisioso et la Yamaha de son coéquipier espagnol
Maverick Vinales mais fini sur le podium pour son 300 eme départ en MotoGP.

DOUBLE SHOT FOR DOVISIOSIO (DUCATI)

Italy’s Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati), who won the Grand Prix of Britain at the end
of a perfectly controlled race, asserted himself as a very serious rival of
Spanish Marc Marquez (Honda) for the world crown of the category Queen of MotoGP.
At the World Championship, Dovisioso took the lead from the championship to the
detriment of the Catalan Honda who suffered a breakdown engine during the race.
The official Italian driver Ducati becomes the best scorer this season with now 4
victories: Italy, Catalonia, Austria and Great Britain. If Valentino Rossi
(Yamaha) dominated the 3/4 of the race, he had to bow to the Ducati of Dovisioso
and the Yamaha of his Spanish teammate Maverick Vinales but finished on the
podium for his 300th start in MotoGP.
