A gift fit for a Queen: famed royal commentator and expert Thomas Mace-Archer-Mills presents his new creation, ‚EIIR: The Platinum Record, A Jubilee Anthem‘, honouring Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in this historic year. The announcement saturated the UK media market, with mentions in the Daily Mail, the Express, The Sun, The Belfast Telegraph and dozens of other top platforms hailing the new work.
A Story by Award Winning Managing Editor His Highness Dr. Prince Mario-Max zu Schaumburg-Lippe.
Sunday 6th February marked the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession, the longest reign in British constitutional history, and Buckingham Palace issued a new photograph and a letter from The Queen re-dedicating her commitment to her people. Mace-Archer-Mills announced that the organisation he founded, The British Monarchists Society, has commissioned a new album, EIIR: The Platinum Record, on BMS Records. ‚The album consists of two individual tracks, but together form one Jubilee Anthem which has been composed by my friends and colleagues, private Royal Composer Dr. Olga Thomas and crossover classical tenor, composer and producer Anton Van Der Mere,‘ he explains, with lyrics written jointly by Mace-Archer-Mills and Van Der Mere.
For the project he brought in famed British soprano Lesley Garrett CBE, recognised by Her Majesty, the West End’s iconic baritone Rodney Earl Clarke, and The London Community Gospel Choir, which features on both tracks. The first track, ‚The Four British Nations‘, composed by Dr. Olga Thomas and produced by Robert Emery, has a British State pomp theme inspired by Sir Edward Elgar, with chants and shouts of ‚Vivat‘, ‚Regina‘ and ‚Elizabetha‘ arranged by Mace-Archer-Mills, re-creating images of Her Majesty’s Coronation of June 1953.
The second track, ‚(Your Majesty) We Thank You From Our Hearts‘, composed by Van Der Mere and produced with Etienne Lane, has a world music sound: steel drums of the Caribbean, the didgeridoo of Australia, and Hindi, Maori and Swahili chants referencing the countries of the British Commonwealth. London’s Metro picked up the theme with the headline ‚Queen Called Mother of This Nation in New Jubilee Anthem with Didgeridoo‘. His Highness Dr. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, whose father H.H. Prince Waldemar Schaumburg-Lippe was born into the Royal British line of succession too, adds: ‚What a wonderful gift for beloved Monarch Queen Elizabeth II.‘ The album is set for release on The Queen’s 96th birthday, 21 April, on all major digital outlets and on a limited edition of pressed CDs and vinyl, with more at www.thejubileeanthem2022.com.
