The collection exalts the sadness radiated by beauty and the beauty radiated by sadness. The mood is transported by colors seemingly lost within wafts of mist.

The colors range from the black of haunted forests, to the pastels of flower fields, to the berry tones of Belladonna.

Different materials like feather light chiffon and heavy doubleface emphasize the contrast between the fragility and beauty of life and the sadness and darkness of transience and mortality. Delicate floral accents reminding of innocent blooming nature are concurrently representing the modern and self-conscious woman`s life.

Classic lines are devoting special attention to lucidity of pure feminine beauty. Irene Luft combines the strong and majestic appearance of a seemingly supernatural woman with a warm and romantic soul.

The Designer

Irene’s life is a homage to fashion. Born and raised in the Soviet Union as the daughter of a master tailor she followed her mother’s tracks and did her apprenticeship as a couture artisan. She graduated with distinction from the renowned German Master Craftsmen School for Fashion (Deutsche Meisterschule für Mode) and later from the Akademie für Mode & Design in Munich.
