Palm Beach knows how to celebrate for a cause. The 6th Annual Holiday Cabaret Charity Fundraiser Luncheon on December 10, 2023 was a remarkable success – and on February 22, 2024 an appreciation gathering honored the contributors, volunteers and attendees who made it happen, with organizer Lexye Aversa at the forefront alongside His Highness Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, who co-emceed the event and added a layer of royal allure to the festivities.

A Story by Award Winning Managing Editor His Highness Dr. Prince Mario-Max zu Schaumburg-Lippe.

The luncheon benefited A Safe Haven for Newborns, the organization dedicated to eliminating infant abandonment by aiding pregnant girls in crisis and securing loving homes for newborns. It kicked off with a red carpet reception and boutique at 11:30 am, featuring the melodies of Cecilia Roy and performances by Ballet Palm Beach, followed by a feast for the senses with wine, stellar performances – entertainment icon Franco Corso sang, an X-Factor Romania winner serenaded the guests – and models showcasing the latest couture by Odalys Marino.

Honors for Barbara and Jack Nicklaus

At the gala, A Safe Haven for Newborns proudly honored Barbara and Jack Nicklaus as its 2023 Grand Honorees; the couple’s philanthropic efforts, particularly through Miami Children’s Hospital, have been instrumental in supporting the organization’s life-saving mission. Founder Nick Silverio’s dedication to saving babies and aiding pregnant girls has transformed thousands of lives, and the organization has been recognized by figures as eminent as the Pope for its humanitarian achievements.

With 383 lives already touched, the luncheon stands as a testament to what compassion and generosity can do: not just an event, but a celebration of a community’s collective spirit – fashion, music and charity converging in Palm Beach for a brighter future for infants in need.
