Sat behind a keyboard centre at the stage and backed by a guitarist, keyboardist/cellist and a drummer, London singer songwriter Freya Ridings was a real presence at Bi Nuu on 21st of March. It doesn’t take her too long to captivate the crowd with her depth voice. This time, the star had a heartwarming support from JC Stewart.
Freya Ridings released of her debut single „Blackout“ in May 2017 to the music press and has already accumulated over 2.5 million streams on Spotify. „Lost Without You“ led the “Independent” to announce her as „Artist to Watch 2018“ has entered the Top 10 and entered some streaming charts.
Last autumn, she was a guest performer live at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg. She is back to Germany. Her sold-out show at Bi Nuu amazed the audience with her powerful vocal.
A Magical Show
The evening started with Soulful Pop, Northern Irish singer-songwriter JC Stewart warmed the venue up. Moving from guitar melodies to piano beside his charming voice everyone seemed enjoyed with his performance.
After a touching startup, Freya Ridings entered with applause and anticipation of the audience. Her hypnotizing vocal over the piano melodies enveloped the audience and everyone embraced the spirit of Freya’s live performance.
She knocked down the audience, with songs such as ‘Ultraviolet’ and ‘Blackout’. Lost Without You with delicate keyboard and vocals, no one dared to speak. Dedicating ‘You Mean the World to Me’ to her mother, Riding mesmerized everyone. It was great to see how just a simple pairing of piano and vocals can fascinate a crowd.
