THE CULINARY RECIPE OF THE WEEK BY LAFILOU : STRAWBERRY, COCONUT and LAVENDER SMOOTHIE BOWL

When was the last time you were surrounded by complete silence? No traffic noise, no shouting, no barking dog..? Living in a busy city makes me realize that we are constantly affected by noise, 24/7 and it makes me appreciate those rare moments of silence. All the more reason to take some time to actively tune into ourselves, listening to our inner voices. Because only when you are in silence you can hear what your heart is telling you ❤
SPRING VIBES are ON! a beautiful, flowery smoothie bowl for a beautiful spring morning, what else could you want? A fresh, banana-free STRAWBERRY, COCONUT and LAVENDER SMOOTHIE BOWL which is still insanely creamy! The Lavender adds a nice flowery taste to it and goes so well with a hint of COCONUT! It is topped with COCONUT FLAKES, GOJI BERRIES, DRIED MULBERRIES, SUNFLOWER SEEDS and LAVENDER petals. and before you ask, YES, i definitely do have a thing with flowers!:) my favorites are white lilies – and yours?
ingredients for 1 bowl:
– 150 g silken tofu – 1 cup coconut milk – 170 g fresh strawberries – 1 tbsp maple syrup – 1 tsp maca powder – 3-4 ice cubes – dried mulberries -sunflower seeds – goji berries – coconut flakes – a sprinkle of lavender petals (fresh or dried)
In a blender, combine tofu, maple syrup, coconut milk, maca powder, ice cubes, half of the lavender petals and strawberries. Save one or two strawberries to decorate your bowl afterwards. Blend until very smooth and silky. Transfer into a bowl and top with sliced strawberries, gojis, sunflower seeds, coconut flakes, mulberries and sprinkle with lavender petals. enjoy!
